Leadership Series

We must stop talking about inclusive leadership.

DEI is not suddenly in crisis. It always has been. It was never fit for purpose. The approach has been divisive, othering and transactional. Quota based. Putting people into boxes. Disenfranchising to the majority. Cold, cynical and with very little human-centricity.

But the benefits diversity of experience and thought bring are not, and never have been, in dispute. The performance, innovation, wellbeing and agility upsides are the competitive advantage organisations can no longer afford to ignore. Leaders are front, back and centre of making this happen but ONLY by changing both their focus and approach.

This is not DEI 2.0. This is not activism or lip service.

This is the Future-Fit Advantage.

  • The role of the leader is to connect with each individual as a unique identity and to tune into their needs, motivations and aspirations. this is not a one-size-fits-all approach to leadership – this is a one-size-fits-one. This requires a very different approach to leadership development as the focus is not on managing performance, delegation, motivation or any other traditional development themes. There is a shift from management being done to the individuals in a uniform, consistent way, to the manager serving the needs of each unique identity.

This workshop is an introduction to The Leader as Facilitator Series and covers:

    • What is identity?

    • Interpersonal connections

    • Leveraging Talent

  • The leader’s role in the future of work is not one of ‘command and control’ but, rather, that of a facilitator meeting the needs of individual talents and creating connectivity in teams. The leader has to shift their position in this respect to being ‘beside’ rather than ‘above’ the individual and the team.

This module can be delivered as a one off module or as a series of three. It covers:

    • Leaders as Facilitators of Connectivity

    • Leaders as Facilitators of Talent

    • Leaders as Facilitators of Wellbeing
